This exhibition, which includes part of the Foundation’s collection, will present the works of Moroccan artists living in France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Canada and the United Arab Emirates, the Foundation said in a press release.
It brings together the works of artists who exhibited at Espace rivages from 2016 to 2024, including Said Messari, Charaf Algharnati, Youssef Gharbaoui, Mohamed Azouzi, Hamid Douieb, Ibn El Farouk, Alyaa Al Ezzi, Hanan Bouanani and All Sahtoute.
The exhibition also includes works by Salman Ezzammoury, Ahmed Hamid Bouzlane, Adil Haouata, Khalid El Bekay, Merieme Mergueldi, Kaoutar Bassir, Touria Alaoul, Karima Di Lena, Abdelkader Meskar, Hamid Bouhioul, Chaimai Mellouki, Jean Numa Caux and others, the same source said, adding that another part of the Foundation’s collection will be exhibited later.
Inaugurated in March 2016, Espace rivages is intended for Moroccan artists and writers residing abroad. Since its creation, several exhibitions and book presentations have been organized to showcase the creations of MREs in Morocco and to involve them in the artistic and cultural life of their country of origin.
