Trademark Infringement Case: Adidas Fails, Thom Browne Brand Can Use Logo

by time news

Adidas, the leading sportswear brand, has failed in the trademark infringement case. Adidas has accused American luxury fashion brand Thom Browne of using a similar logo. It was in this case that Adidas faced failure. Adidas aimed to collect more than $7.8 billion in damages from Thom Browne. However, the court verdict was announced against Adidas.

The dispute between the two companies dates back more than 15 years. Adidas’ logo uses three stripes and Thom Browne’s logo uses four stripes. Meanwhile, Thom Browne does not dominate the sportswear sector. Thom Browne argued that there was no likelihood of confusion between the companies’ designs.
