Soup Sold At Trader Joe’s Recalled Over Insects

In a separate but equally concerning recall, Trader Joe’s also announced the recall of nearly 11,000 cases of their Unexpected Broccoli Cheddar Soup. The recall was issued as the soup may contain bugs, as reported by the company’s supplier.

“We have been alerted by our supplier of Trader Joe’s Unexpected Broccoli Cheddar Soup that product with Use By dates 07/18/23 – 09/15/23 may contain insects,” Trader Joe’s said in a statement.

As of now, no adverse health effects have been reported due to the consumption of the recalled soup. However, customers are advised to dispose of the soup or return it to any Trader Joe’s store for a full refund.
