Cuddalore: Demonstration was held in Cuddalore demanding bank loans to street vendors.
In Cuddalore, street vendors should be thoroughly surveyed and issued identity cards. The trend of forced disposal should be abandoned. The roadside shop workers of Cuddalore district staged a demonstration in front of the collector’s office, demanding Rs.15,000 loan from the cooperative bank to the roadside traders as stated in the election manifesto.
District Secretary of Sangha Sangameswaran presided. District President Sureshwaran presided.
CITU, District President Karupiyaan, District Secretary Palanivel, Roadside Traders Association District Secretary Sundharamurthy, District Treasurer Iritatullah spoke emphasizing the demands.
