Transaction time is increasing in both capital markets of the country. From Sunday (July 28) two stock exchanges of the country will be traded for 4 hours. Trading in the capital market started at 10 am on this day. This transaction will continue till 2 pm. This index will be traded till next Tuesday.

This schedule of transactions in the capital market has been determined in accordance with the new schedule announced by the government for banks and government offices.

Prior to this, on Wednesday and Thursday of last week, the stock market traded for 3 hours from 11 am to 2 pm.

In this regard, the Deputy General Manager of Public Relations and Publication Department of Dhaka Stock Exchange said. Shafiqur Rahman told RisingBD that changes have been made in the trading schedule of the capital market in the light of the government’s instructions. In view of the new guidelines of the government, the trading in the Dhaka Stock Exchange will start at 10 am and continue till 2 pm. During this time post closing will be from 1.50 pm to 2.00 pm.

Chittagong Stock Exchange Public Relations Officer Tanya Begum told RisingBD that trading in CSE will start at 10 am and continue till 2 pm, just like DSE. Post closing time will be from 1:50 PM to 2:00 PM.

Incidentally, trading in the capital market started last Wednesday (July 24) after three consecutive days of general holidays announced by the government in view of the quota reform movement. On that day and the following day Thursday (July 25), trading in both the country’s stock exchanges started at 11 am and continued till 2 pm in view of government directives. At this time, public and private offices run from 11 am to 3 pm. Last Saturday (July 27) the schedule of public and private offices from the Ministry of Public Administration has been determined from 9 am to 3 pm. This schedule will be effective till July 30.
