Government and private offices will run from 9 am to 3 pm from Sunday (July 28) to Tuesday (July 30) for the next three days. Public Administration Minister Farhad Hossain said that on Saturday (July 27), the Ministry of Public Administration has decided the new schedule of the office. In view of this directive of the government, trading will continue in both capital markets of the country from 10 am to 2 pm on those three days.

Shafiqur Rahman said, in the light of the government’s instructions, changes have been made in the trading schedule of the capital market. In view of the new guidelines of the government, the trading in the Dhaka Stock Exchange will start at 10 am and continue till 2 pm. During this time post closing will be from 1.50 pm to 2.00 pm.
Chittagong Stock Exchange Public Relations Officer Tanya Begum told RisingBD that trading in CSE will start at 10 am and continue till 2 pm, just like DSE. Post closing time will be from 1:50 PM to 2:00 PM.
Incidentally, trading in the capital market started last Wednesday (July 24) after three consecutive days of general holidays announced by the government in view of the quota reform movement. On that day and the following day Thursday (July 25), trading in both the country’s stock exchanges started at 11 am and continued till 2 pm in view of government directives. At this time, public and private offices run from 11 am to 3 pm.
