On a trading day around the world yesterday, the price declines from Thursday night were halted. In New York – the Dow Jones industrial average was down just 0.13%, the S&P 500 was up 0.22% and the Composite cracked index was up 1.43%. Globally, the Potassium 100 index was down 0.41%, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange index was up 0.67%, the Madrid Stock Exchange 35 index was up 0.84% and the Paris Stock Exchange 40 index was down 0.06%. In the East, the Tokyo Stock Exchange’s 225 index was down 1.77%, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s Hong Kong was down 1.1% and the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s SCE 300 was up 1.39%.
