Traffic arrangements will be in effect tomorrow, Saturday, in Ioannina and Eleousa, due to the parades and other festive events for the anniversary of October 28.
From 7 am until the end of the parade, there will be a temporary ban on parking vehicles on Dodonis streets, from number 39 (Stratologia) to Averof street, in Averof and on Pyrros & Andreas Papandreou squares, while from 9 am there will also be a traffic ban on the same streets and in addition on 28th October Street from Vlahleidis Street to Dodonis Street, on Spyrou Spyrou Street, on Bizaniou Street from Tsirogianni Street to Dodonis Street, on Kaningos Street from its junction with Tsirigoti and on Krystalli street. From 6 in the morning, the road will be closed downstream in front of the central square, from the roundabout of the Courthouse to 28th October Street, in order to place the official platform. Finally, a temporary parking ban from 7 am and a traffic ban from 9 am will apply on Mitropoleos Street, until the end of the events at the Metropolitan Church of Agios Athanasios.
In Eleausa, parking and vehicle traffic will be prohibited on Demokratias Avenue, from the height of the Gymnasium and Lyceum of Eleousa, to its junction with Eleftherias Avenue (roundabout), from 8 am until the end of the events.
