The police monitored and controlled traffic in Västerbotten County during the day. The following are some of the results: Sobriety tests were conducted on 40 car and scooter drivers in Centrumvägen, Borgafjäll, Dorotea, and all were found to be sober. A snowmobile was used for a flying inspection. No issues were found on E12 Karonsbo, Lycksele. Two fines were issued for speeding violations in Stensele, Storuman’s urban area, with the highest measured speed being 70 kilometers per hour on the 50-mile stretch. Two fines were also issued for speeding offenses on E12 Stensele, Barsele, Storuman, with the highest measured speed being 114 kilometers per hour on the 100-mile stretch. Seven drivers were reported for traffic violations and the highest measured speed was 111 kilometers per hour in the E12/Länsväg 624 Tväråbäck area in Vännäs. A motorist who drove in the bus lane on Storgatan, Öst på stan, Umeå received a traffic fine. In Betsele, Lycksele, ten drivers were tested for sobriety, and all were found to be sober. One received a traffic ticket for speeding. Two fines were issued for speed violations in Företagsvägen, Hammarängen, Skellefteå. Four fines were also issued for speed violations in Brännland, Umgransele, Lycksele. At 21:46, six fines were issued for speeding violations on Highway 92 Laiksjö, Dorotea. At the Rastplats Buktes in Storuman, six fines were issued for speed violations at 15:24, with the highest measured speed being 98 kilometers per hour on the 80-mile stretch. A fine for speeding and not having a rear-view mirror was issued to the driver of a car with a trailer attached on Riksväg 95 Jörn, Skellefteå. Four fines were issued for speeding violations on Highway 95 Myckle, Skellefteå. An order fine was issued in Riksväg 92 Braxsele, Bjurholm, due to a hidden registration plate. A motorist who drove too fast on E45 Sorsele also received an order fine.

Riksväg 95 Jörn, Skellefteå: A fine for speeding is issued to the driver of a car with a trailer attached. The driver is also fined for not having a rear-view mirror.

Highway 95 Myckle, Skellefteå: Four fines were issued for speeding violations.

Riksväg 92 Braxsele, Bjurholm: Order fine issued due to a hidden registration plate.

E45 Sorsele: Order fine is issued to a motorist who drives too fast.
