Citizens who went to their hometowns or holiday resorts after the schools went on holiday on Friday last week across the country started to return on the second day of Eid al-Fitr. In Kırıkkale, the transit route of 43 provinces, the “key intersection”, traffic density started in the evening. Due to the density experienced on the Samsun-Ankara and Kırıkkale-Kayseri highways, the vehicles proceeded from bumper to bumper.
The teams affiliated to the Provincial Police Department continue their work to ease the traffic flow at the intersections where they are assigned. In areas with heavy traffic, some intersections were closed to vehicle traffic with concrete barriers. The intensity is expected to continue tomorrow.
