Traffic in the “Golemo Buchino” and “Lyulin” tunnels on the Struma highway (AM) in the direction of Sofia will be restricted until September 7 due to the replacement of the lighting, the Road Infrastructure Agency (API) announced. Traffic will pass in both directions in the tube to Pernik, and the speed will be limited to 50 km/h.
The API reminds that drivers must drive with caution and strictly follow road signs.
The agency appeals to drivers to comply with traffic rules and not to undertake risky overtaking that endangers the safety of all other passengers. Not to use emergency lanes on motorways to move faster in heavy traffic. In this way, the passage of vehicles with a special traffic mode is prevented in the event of an accident.
From September 2 to 4, traffic was restricted in the Sofia-bound tube of the “Malo Buchino” tunnel on the “Struma” highway due to the installation of support structures for lighting.
