Berlin The federal government has finally agreed on its planned relief for the economy. Accordingly, the relief is somewhat greater than previously planned. The relief volume now totals EUR 7.035 billion annually up to and including 2028.

This emerges from the final draft law for the Growth Opportunities Act, which is available exclusively to the Handelsblatt and which the federal government wants to adopt on Wednesday at its cabinet meeting in Meseberg.

It is intended to apply to buildings used for residential purposes whose construction begins after September 30, 2023 and before October 1, 2029.
