Manama: Bahrain proposes to follow traffic rules on roads. The general directorate of traffic has given instructions to the people in this regard. The directorate has directed traffic rules to be strictly followed at places like Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway and Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Highway.

Officials have also warned that those violating traffic rules will be detected through smart camera systems and necessary legal action will be taken. Special patrolling systems have also been introduced on roads to detect wrongdoings on the part of drivers. Officials added that Bahrain is utilizing advanced technologies such as smart radar systems and CCTV systems to detect traffic violations.
Officials added that such systems can be used to detect violations including speeding and ensure punishment against those who violate the law.
