The beginning of the AgroNEA, the most important exhibition of the agricultural sector of the Argentine northeast that takes place in the city of Charata in Chaco, was marked by a dramatic accident: a small plane in which there were two men, pilot and co-pilot, crashed. crashed causing the tragic death of both.

“We want to express our deepest condolences and our accompaniment to the family of the two pilots who died in the accident that occurred this Friday in Agronea. According to Domínguez, the cause of the accident was due to a mechanical failure of the plane. In fact, due to a matter of jurisdiction, the air force and the provincial Federal Court intervened, who were already heading to the place.

The accident occurred during the opening of the exhibition. The plane, part of a private company, was doing acrobatic maneuvers and had been hired by the organizers of AgroNEA. It was determined that the pilot and co-pilot are from Buenos Aires. Their families were contacted shortly after the fact.

After the accident, police, firefighters and health personnel work at the scene. The chief of the Chaco Police, Ariel Acuña, and the deputy chief of the force, Daniel Vega, are traveling to Charata to monitor the investigation.

The exhibition began this Friday morning and will run until Sunday, July 2. It is the twentieth time that it has been carried out, with a significant concentration of producers. The point where it occurs this time is the property located at kilometer 72.5 of Route 89, about five kilometers from the access to Charata.
