Educator Mrs. Hadassah Zusman, principal of the Beit Ya’akov ‘Hyuval’ school in Kiryat Yuval, Jerusalem, passed away due to the disease that had settled in her body and she was only 50 years old. Her funeral tonight, from her home in Beit Vagan

Baruch Dayan the truth: From Jerusalem comes the difficult and sad news of the death of the important woman, the great educator Mrs. Hadassah Sussman, principal of the Beit Ya’akov school of independent education in the Kiryat Yuval neighborhood, who passed away after an illness and was 50 years old at the time of her death.

The deceased was the daughter of Rabbi Shmuel Heller of Haifa and her mother Marat Miriam. Upon arriving in Parka, she married her husband Rabbi Meir Zussman and together they built their home on the threshold of Torah and reverence.

“There was a really special woman,” the students say. She served as an educator for many years at the Beit Yaakov ‘North’ school in the Sanhedria, educating hundreds of female students. Later she was appointed to manage the Beit Ya’akov ‘Hari’ school and several years ago when the decision was made to establish a school for girls from the Kiryat Yuval and Gila neighborhoods, Mrs. Zussman was chosen to lead the establishment processes and manage the new school, the ‘Yuval’ school of independent education.

Within a few years the school grew and developed under the management of Rabbi Zussman at a meteoric pace, and today it has over a thousand female students in Le’a’ar.

Rabbi Sussman was a great educator in her own right, and the students who studied with her over the years tell many stories about her special personality and her charitable qualities.

The schoolgirls who spoke with ‘Bahadari Haredim’ mourn the passing of the principal and talk about her character and her rare educational personality and the huge mark she left on her students.

Recently, the director suffered from the terrible disease until her death today.

She left behind eight children, three of whom are married.

Funeral journey tonight at 20:30 from her home at 96 Beit Vagan St. Jerusalem.

May her soul be bundled in the bundle of life.
