BRIDGE GARDENA. Tragedy in Ponte Gardena where a 14-month-old child died from the consequences of one fell from the second floor which took place on Friday, just before 7pm.
The closed White Cross helicopter and the Pelikan 2 emergency doctor helicopter were immediately sent to the scene of the accident, and the volunteer firefighters in the area were also alerted.
Given the serious injuries, the child was resuscitated on the spot and taken by plane to the hospital in Verona, where he is later died of serious injuries.
His parents, who have lived in Ponte Gardena for two and a half years, are originally from Macedonia and have two other children. The carabinieri are now investigating the exact circumstances of the tragedy.
