Yossi Cohen, a high school teacher from Beit Shemesh collapsed this morning (Thursday) in front of his students during a trip to Eilat. He was later pronounced dead at Yoseftal Hospital in the city.

The municipality of Beit Shemesh reported: “This morning, during an annual trip to Eilat for girls in the 11th-12th grade from the “Love of Israel” studio, the teacher of the Jewish High School, Yossi Cohen, collapsed, was taken to the Yoseftal hospital, and died there. The municipality of Beit Shemesh mourns and participates in deep sorrow with the passing of the teacher Yossi Cohen and sends condolences to his dear wife Rachel, an employee of the reception department in the municipality, to the dear family and to the entire “Love of Israel” community.

It was also reported: “The teams of the Beit Shemesh municipality’s youth and community education director, from the moment the disaster became known, accompanied and wrapped the schoolgirls and the education teams.
