by time news

At Ziv Hospital in Safed, we update with great sadness that the one-year-old toddler who drowned in a pool in the city yesterday (Wednesday) has passed away. According to the message, the condition of a toddler was critical and unstable until he unfortunately passed away a little while ago.

As I recall, the toddler drowned yesterday in the pool at the Zimmer in Safed and was taken to the hospital at the same time as prolonged resuscitation efforts. At the hospital, his pulse returned and he was transferred to pediatric intensive care, but today, unfortunately, he passed away.

Emergency medicine medic at MDA Yair Levy said: “We were led to a baby who was unconscious after being pulled from the pool while he was unconscious. We immediately started performing advanced resuscitation operations on him that included massages and breathing, we put him in the intensive care vehicle and quickly evacuated him to the hospital while continuing to perform resuscitation operations when his condition is critical.”

A Rescue Union volunteer who was in the area tells “Kol Chai”: “I was in the middle of a prayer in Steblach, suddenly people shouted rescue, I immediately went up to the apartment, and I saw a boy whose father was pulling him out of the water. We were three volunteers at the scene, and we did CPR and CPR on him. We did CPR for 45 minutes, then He was evacuated to Ziv Hospital in critical condition.”

The baby Yonatan Deutsch is the son of Rabbi Shuki Deutsch, a representative of Degal HaTorah in Kiryat Yaarim Telzston. In the background of the series of severe disasters that have occurred in recent times, and in particular among the ultra-Orthodox public, the opening of ‘Zaman Elul’ was brought forward yesterday at the Mir yeshiva.
