A bus from the Tumi de Oro company, carrying members of the Antología del Folklore Orchestra, went off the road, causing a vehicular accident at 4:30 a.m. on July 22 at kilometer 20 of Cochas Bajo. Colonel Jhonny Valderrama, Head of the Highway Protection Division, reported the incident. As a result, nine people lost their lives and twelve were injured, being transferred to the Félix Mayorca Soto Hospital in Tarma.

“The truth is, yes, I was listening to some comments, but that will be up to the legal advisor to make the corresponding declarations. There are many accounts saying that the nurses mistreated them. In half an hour, the doctors and lawyers will meet to take the appropriate measures regarding what happened,” expressed Hinostroza.
