Tragic news out of Hanover, Massachusetts as an 89-year-old man has died after a tree fell on his trailer during a storm. The Hanover Police received a 911 call reporting a large tree that had fallen onto a small travel trailer, trapping the man inside. The man, identified as Robert Horky, of Hingham, suffered severe head trauma and was taken to South Shore Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Horky was described as a great man by those who knew him, with one tenant saying he was a great landlord who was always kind and accommodating.
The cause of the tree falling remains under investigation, but it is known that numerous trees fell across Massachusetts during the storm, which brought heavy rains and powerful wind gusts. As a result of the storm, hundreds of thousands of customers across the state lost power at its peak.
