The campsite is located in Kriopigi. Under currently unclear circumstances, the 8-year-old was found dead in the pool. As soon as those present realized something was wrong with the child, they rushed to her and pulled her out of the water.
The Immediate Action Center was informed by EKAB, which was the first to arrive at the campsite at 3:30 PM, 8 minutes after receiving the call. She was then transported to the Kassandras Health Center and from there by ambulance to AHEPA Hospital in Thessaloniki.
The Hellenic Police is gathering testimonies from the managers and staff of the campsite regarding what happened. The preliminary investigation has been taken over by the Kassandras Police Station.
