Tragedy Strikes in NYC: Mother-of-Two Takes Her Own Life After Argument with Husband

Alina Page, a mother-of-two, tragically took her own life on Thursday by jumping from the roof of her luxury NYC apartment building after an argument with her orthopedic surgeon husband, Brian Page. The devastating event occurred on the rooftop of The Brittany, the couple’s Upper East Side high-rise apartment building.

Reports indicate that Alina, 35, had an argument with her husband about her drinking before the tragic incident took place. According to sources, she fell from the 36th floor roof after the disagreement with her husband. Following the heartbreaking loss, Brian expressed his devastation at the passing of his wife, describing her as “the love of my life, my soulmate” in a statement to The New York Post.

Authorities have confirmed that there was no criminality in the death, but investigations continue. Alina Page was found on the sidewalk of her ritzy neighborhood, and despite being rushed to the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival.

Page, originally from Russia, moved to New York City in 2021 with her husband and two children. The family lived a life of luxury in their $7,500-a-month apartment in The Brittany, with Alina often sharing her love for her new New York home on social media.

This tragic incident comes just weeks after another individual threw themselves from the top of a different tall building in New York City. The Gotham Hotel was the site of Playboy model Stephanie Adams’ death, following a similar heartbreaking suicide.

As the community mourns the loss of Alina Page, those struggling with thoughts of suicide are urged to seek help and support. Services such as the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (988) and The Samaritans (212-673-3000) are available for those in need.
