During the morning of this Tuesday, January 7a trailer suffered a road incident on Chapultepec Avenue. This heavy-duty unit ended up getting stuck in one of the underbridges located in this area of the capital.
According to the information, this incident took place approximately at 07:00 in the morning. Due to this accident, traffic on this important avenue had to be closed to begin emergency work.

Traffic elements, as well as police officers, attended the scene. Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC). Due to the damage, work began to relieve the traffic congestion on Chapultepec Avenue.

Through social networks, some motorists shared videos of the moment in which this trailer got stuck on this low bridge. In the images you can see how the cargo box seems to be ‘stuck’ with the limits of this vehicular passage.

Until the publication of this note, Traffic in this area remains closed due to the presence of security and emergency elements, which are still working to remove this heavy load unit.
The capital authorities have recommended that motorists use the streets of Liverpool, Puebla street and Chapultepec side. This incident also affected the provisional RTP service that supports users of Metro Line 1.
