On Monday night around midnight, the driver of a semi-truck knocked down a pole and threw a light transformer onto Canal del Norte, almost on the corner of Reforma.

Around midnight, the inhabitants of the Canal del Norte Avenuealso known as Axis 2 North, in Colonia Morelos, Cuauhtémoc City Hall, They were left without electricity for a few minutes due to the fall of a light transformer, knocked over by a trailer.
Witnesses of the events mention that the telephone wiring was low, so when the trailer passed by it pulled them and took the light pole, electric transformer and tree branches which is located in the place.
This caused the road to be closed. Axis 2 North towards Reforma, forcing motorists to turn back, despite the fact that the avenue is one-way, to look for alternatives. Although there were some who were stranded until traffic was restored, because they were heavy trucks and trailers.

The driver of the unit tried to flee; however, he was stopped near the Eje Central.
Telephone workers went to the site to carry out the protocol services and fix the damage caused by the transformer. The result is white, although within the damage, some trees were affected, so the Mexico City Fire Department to remove the damage.
