Jaipur/Kota: Amid the continuous rain in the state, frightening news of a train accident has come to light. Here, the Nanda Devi AC Super Fast Express going from Dehradun to Kota split into two parts. It is reported that this incident took place between Bharatpur and Sevar station. According to the information received, the train stopped with a sharp jerk during the incident and the passengers got a shock. After this, due to the train splitting into two parts, electricity and AC stopped in the rear coaches. A major accident was averted as the speed of the train was slow at the time of the incident.

This incident happened when Nanda Devi AC Super Fast Express going from Dehradun to Kota was passing between Bharatpur and Sevar station. Suddenly the train jerked and the passengers felt something unusual. When the train stopped, the passengers got down from the coaches and saw that the train had split into two parts. The engine and some coaches of the train had gone ahead, while the rest of the coaches were left behind. At present, it has been learnt that this incident has happened due to technical fault.
Railway track disrupted, other trains will be late According to the eyewitness, ‘They had gone to Haridwar for the immersion of grandmother’s ashes. While returning, the train stopped slowly with a sharp jerk near Bharatpur. It was fortunate that the train was moving at a slow speed, so it did not derail, otherwise a big accident could have happened.’ As soon as the information of the incident was received, there was a stir in the railway administration. Immediately the officials were informed and the repair team was sent to the spot. The separated coaches were joined back. After this the train was sent off. This whole process was delayed by about three quarters of an hour. Due to this incident, the railway track was disrupted, due to which other trains are also facing delay.
