Tehran: 17 killed in train derailment in eastern Iran Fifty people were injured. The accident happened near the town of Tabas at 5.30am local time yesterday. The accident was reportedly caused by a collision with a bulldozer on the railway track. Five bogies derailed. A total of 348 people were on board the train. The death toll could rise further.
