During a meeting held on Saturday by Mr. Lekjaa and the national technical director, Osian Roberts, with the executives and managers of the DTN, devoted to monitoring the development of national football, the president of the FRMF also advocated for the basic work and the development of the practice in the different regions and provinces of the Kingdom through the support and supervision of the regions in terms of the organization of competitions, indicates a press release from the Federation.
These competitions, he continued, can be organized on local grounds, which number in the hundreds, and thus benefit from the partnerships that link the FRMF to the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport and to the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The FRMF president also stressed that the supervision of the DTN should not be limited to the Mohammed VI Football Complex but should extend to all provinces and cities without exception through a policy of openness, the statement said, adding that this meeting was also an opportunity to discuss issues related to the DTN and national youth selections.
Thus, the presentation of the selection process for applications for the CAF -A- License training sessions for the 2020-2021 season, the process of listening to complaints from unsuccessful candidates and the training program planned for the month of October were carried out.
During this meeting, French expert David Boulanger presented via videoconference a model of mass football within schools in Al Hoceima, which aims to lay the foundations for good football practice in this category and broaden the base of practitioners. This program must extend to the different regions of Morocco, Mr. Lekjaa stressed.
