Vocational training was held for the second year students of Puttur Srinivasa Subbaraya Government College of Technology near Sirkazhi at the Government Transport Corporation workshop on Tuesday.
Principal Thangamani, lecturer Venkatesh and staff members of the college sent the students studying in the second year diploma department in the department of structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics, and computer science to the workshop of Sikazhi Government Transport Corporation.
In this regard, College Principal Thangamani said: Industrial training for second year students is being implemented with the help of government funds. Students are getting training in companies like Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. Currently, the students have been sent to Sirkazi Government Transport Corporation workshop for the training for the year 2022. He said that the government provides the entire cost to the students for this training.
