His departure from PSG was only a matter of formalization. For several days, the future of Parisian midfielder Ander Herrera seemed to turn to his former club Athletic Bilbao. The surprise, on the other hand, is that of the form of this departure: the 33-year-old Spaniard has not terminated his contract with Paris, but is loaned to Bilbao with an option to buy. It was PSG itself who announced the news on Saturday evening, wishing Herrera a “great season” in the Athletic jersey.
