Transfer of teachers – Interim suspension

The Madras High Court has granted an interim stay on the order to transfer additional teachers in government-aided schools.

An order had been issued to transfer additional teachers to other schools based on the number of students.

A case filed by teachers from Kanchipuram in this regard came up for hearing in the Madras High Court today.

At that time, the government imposed an interim ban on the transfer of additional teachers in aided schools.
