Classes were going on as usual yesterday at a private school in Nashville, the capital of Tennessee, USA. Then a woman entered the school with a gun and opened fire on the students and staff. This caused great tension there. Students and staff ran screaming. However, 6 people, including 3 students under the age of 9, died in this horrific incident.
Meanwhile, the police rushed to the school after receiving information about the shooting and shot and killed the woman involved in the attack. A subsequent investigation identified the shooter as 28-year-old Audrey Hale, who is transgender.
A subsequent search of Audreyhale’s home yielded notes on the plot, a map of the school and guns. The police said that he had planned to attack not only the school but many other places.
While this shooting incident has shocked the entire United States, President Joe Biden said, “Continued gun violence is tearing the soul of the nation. Therefore, the United States Congress must pass a gun ban bill as soon as possible.”
