Transgourmet Ibérica, with headquarters in Vilamalla, has invested 2.2 million euros in the reform of its GM Cash in Vinaròs (Castello). This renovation responds to the strategic investment program that the company is carrying out in its cash&carry centers from 2020. During the first nine months of this year, Transgourmet has completed the comprehensive reform of a total of six GM Cash-Gros Merca centerst: Santa Eulàlia (Eivissa); Sant Boi, Terrassa and Mataró (Barcelona); Girona, and this one from Vinaròs. This establishment has a total sales area of ​​2,273 m².

The company explains that its objective is “to completely renew the concept of cash&carry», adapting the centers to «the most current needs» of their customers, hospitality and trade professionals, «offering them more products, greater comfort and a more personalized treatment».

The firm, owned by the Swiss group Transgourmet, has six distribution platforms spread throughout Spain. Its GM Cash-Gros Mercat banner includes 70 centers with 26 GM Oil gas stations. The company also has its Retail line, with nearly 800 franchised supermarkets under the Suma, Proxim and Spar brands.
