Demonstration in the center of Barcelona
Some 150 carriers have manifested this Sunday through the center of Barcelona, many accompanied by their families, to distance themselves from the Government’s agreement with the majority associations in the sector and support the maintenance of the demonstrations.
As reported by the Guardia Urbana, the demonstrators, most of whom wore the reflective vests that have become a symbol of the protest, have begun their march in the Plaza de Catalunya of Barcelona, convened by the National Platform in Defense of the Transport Sector.
Behind banners with the slogan “In order not to win, it is better to stop”the demonstrators have shouted slogans to show their support for the decision of the National Platform in Defense of the Transport Sector to maintain the pulse with the Government and continue with their protests to demand that they be guaranteed a minimum labor return.
The protesters have loudly demanded the resignation of the Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Rachel Sanchezand have chanted slogans such as “until the end” or “not one step back”.
The protest has ended in plaza Sant Jaume of Barcelona, where the carriers have summoned to maintain the stoppages before the “promises in the air” that they assure they have received from the Government of Pedro Sánchez.
