Aurore is fed up. This resident of Val-de-Marne takes the RER B two or three times a week to get from Laplace station (Arcueil) to Paris. “My cardboard ticket is constantly demagnetizing, it’s driving me crazy! To get out, I have to ask for help or do contortions to get out of the turnstile,” she complains. Aurore lives just one station away from the T+ zone (Paris and metro). As an occasional traveller, she must therefore pay for a cardboard “origin-destination” ticket for each trip. The rechargeable Navigo Easy pass, or the “post-payment” formula with the Liberté + card with which the journeys made are invoiced the following month, only works today in the famous T + zone.
