Delwar Hossain, an employee of Hanif Paribahan, said that earlier people used to sleep at night by spreading newspapers for advance tickets in Gabtoli. Now there is no passenger pressure. All passengers from the southern region are leaving via Padma Bridge via Syedabad.

The long distance bus leaves from Gabtali at the scheduled time. They hope that if garment factories and industries are closed, the pressure of passengers will increase a little.
