Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) organized a press tour to Karabakh on a flight from Baku to Fizuli. Flights are now operated regularly (on Mondays and Fridays), which contributes to the development of tourism and economic ties in the region.
As reported on Monday by Day.Az with reference to Trend, a group of media representatives visited several key sights of Karabakh,
Karabakh is famous for its magnificent landscapes and natural beauty, and the second day of the tour began with a visit to Jidir Duzu.
Jidir Duzu greeted us with clouds, creating a mystical atmosphere. This place is ideal for those who want to enjoy the fresh mountain air and silence, broken only by the whisper of the wind.
There is also a breathtaking view of rocky cliffs rising above the green forests. Despite the clouds, you can see the layers of rock. This landscape is mesmerizing in its grandeur and harsh beauty, highlighting the power of nature.
In addition, here we can safely continue the theme of panoramic views. We see how the gorge stretches into the distance, getting lost in the thick fog. The stone walls and green mountain slopes look majestic and mysterious at the same time. The fog descending on the valley creates a feeling of being on the edge of the world, where nature reigns supreme.
The impressions of visiting Cidir Duzu cannot be described in words. Here, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can truly relax and feel part of this majestic nature. This place is shrouded in peace and tranquility, making it ideal for meditation and recuperation.
Next, our group of journalists visited the museum-mausoleum of Molla Panah Vagif in the city of Shusha. This memorial complex is an important cultural and historical monument dedicated to the great Azerbaijani poet and statesman.
At the beginning, we are greeted by an information stand that tells about the life and work of Vagif, as well as the restoration process of his mausoleum. The photos on the stand illustrate both historical moments and modern restoration efforts. The stand also features portraits of the poet, which helps visitors better understand his significance and contribution to Azerbaijani culture.
The impressive building of the mausoleum rises above the wooded landscape. The architecture of the structure impresses with its monumentality and sophistication. High walls and decorative lattices create a feeling of grandeur and solemnity worthy of the memory of the great poet. The entrance to the mausoleum emphasizes strict symmetry and precision of execution, which emphasizes respect for the legacy of Vagif.
A visit to the Molla Panah Vagif Mausoleum Museum leaves a deep impression. This place allows you to immerse yourself in history and feel connected to the great personalities of the past. The complex not only preserves the memory of Vagif, but also inspires visitors to explore the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan.
Afterwards, together with a group of journalists, we visited the famous Bulbul House Museum. This place, where the great Azerbaijani singer and musician Bulbul lived and worked, is an important cultural landmark that attracts many visitors.
The Bulbul House Museum immerses us in the atmosphere of the last century, when the great singer delighted listeners with his unique voice. The interior of the museum features various exhibits related to the life and work of Bulbul. Here you can see traditional clothing, musical instruments and photographs illustrating the rich history of this place. The exhibits are carefully preserved, creating the feeling that visitors are transported to the times when Bulbul lived and worked.
Outside the museum, you can see a well-kept garden. This green corner creates an atmosphere of calm and comfort, where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. The garden perfectly complements the overall ensemble of the museum, making it even more attractive to tourists.
The visit to the Bulbul House Museum was an important part of our press tour, providing an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage. This place preserves the memory of the great artist and his contribution to the art of music, inspiring new generations to learn about and appreciate the country’s rich history and culture.
At the end of the day we visited the carpet museum, which left an unforgettable impression with its rich collection of exhibits.
We saw a traditional women’s dress, richly decorated with bright colors and complex patterns reflecting the cultural characteristics of the region. Large carpets with exquisite patterns and a rich color palette are on display in the museum halls, each detail testifying to the skill and subtlety of the local weavers. Some carpets are striking in their complexity and variety of designs, each of which tells its own unique story.
