Travel plane crashes in Tanzania | Passenger plane crashes into lake Victoria in Tanzania

Dodoma: A passenger plane on its way to Bukoba Airport in Tanzania has crashed in Lake Victoria.

Tanzanian airline company Precision Air said the plane had crashed from the coastal city of Dar es Salaam.

When the aircraft was about 100 meters into the middle, it experienced engine problems and also encountered bad weather. Then it started raining and the plane crashed and fell into the lake.

There were 43 people on board at the time of the accident. Police chief William Mwampagale said that 26 people have been rescued. More rescue operations are ongoing.
