Travis Barker of Blink-182 Postpones Tour Due to Family Matter

Travis Barker, the drummer of rock band Blink-182, has halted his touring commitments to prioritize his family. According to an announcement on the band’s verified Instagram Story, Barker has had to return home to the United States due to an urgent family matter. As a result, their shows in Glasgow, Scotland, Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Dublin, Ireland, which were scheduled for the beginning of this month, have been postponed.

Blink-182’s “World Tour 2023/2024,” which began in April, is set to resume on September 8 in Antwerp, Belgium. The band did not provide further details regarding the nature of the family matter. CNN reached out to Barker and Blink-182 for comment.

Travis Barker is married to Kourtney Kardashian, and the couple is currently expecting their first child together. Kardashian, who already has three children with her ex-partner Scott Disick, announced her pregnancy in June during a Blink-182 concert. Barker is also a father to two children and a stepfather to one from a previous relationship.

In a video shared on Instagram, Barker provided a drumroll moments before blue confetti revealed that they are expecting a baby boy. The couple has been sharing updates about their journey on social media.

On Thursday night, Barker posted pictures of a communal prayer room on his verified Instagram Story, indicating that he is prioritizing his family’s well-being during this time.

The rescheduled dates for Blink-182’s postponed shows have not yet been announced. Fans are eagerly awaiting further updates on Barker’s return to the band’s tour.
