by time news

Travis Scott will return to Mexico. The American rapper and producer confirmed a stop in the capital of the country next Saturday, September 21, at a venue yet to be announced. On his Instagram profile, the 33-year-old artist revealed the upcoming South American cities he will visit on this Circus Maximus Tour, promoting his album UTOPIA, released in the summer of 2023.

In addition to the Mexican capital, Scott will also perform in Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. For his Oceania tour, he will perform in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. The tour will conclude on October 31 with his show in Auckland, New Zealand.

This will be the second time Travis Scott offers a show in Mexico. Last year, he made his debut on national soil as one of the headliners of the Ceremonia festival, known for providing hip-hop and electronic music acts in its various editions.

For this year, the Circus Maximus Tour is expected to live up to a globally renowned artist who has already overcome the controversy arising from the stampedes that occurred at his music festival, Astroworld, in 2021.
