The Alliance group, the majority within the National Police, has announced that it has filed a complaint against Sébastien Delogu, LFI deputy for Bouches-du-Rhône, reports Le Figaro.
In a message published on Friday on the X social network, the police team responded to the MP’s comments made the day before on Radio Sud. “These corrupt representatives of the Alliance party, I, these people, I have no time for them,” he said in response to the many insults caused by his speech problem in the Finance Committee.
“The honor of the police has been violated”
“The National Police Alliance notes once again that the honor of the police is being raised on the platform of anti-cop hatred,” we can read in the press release. “Insulting police officers is an insult to all police officers! Mr. Delogu wants to hate us! It will only be our determination to fight every minute of this deadly idea for our country,” the group pointed out.
“Faced with anti-cop hatred, there is only one answer and that will be the values of the Republic and the ability to mobilize ourselves against this ideological injustice,” he concluded.
This is not the first time MPI LFI has been noticed. In June, he withdrew from the National Assembly for fifteen days for brandishing a flag in the colors of the Palestinian Authority in the hemicycle.
He must also be tried for aggravated violence and refusal to submit to identity investigations during a fight in a Marseille high school. It is suspected that he has sold a day care center and the deputy director, causing total incapacity for work for at least eight days. Finally, Sébastien Delogu was fined on August 28, 2024 for driving against the flow of a bus lane.
