The SGC invites the population to report if they felt the earthquake through the “Sismo Sentido” form available on its website, sismosentido.sgc.gov.co. This tool allows authorities to collect information about the affected area and the effects of the earthquake, which is crucial for evaluating seismic intensity.

“What you report through this simple form serves the Colombian Geological Service to collect information related to the area in which an earthquake was felt and the effects it caused, in order to evaluate the seismic intensity,” the entity states in its “Sismo Sentido” page.
