Brazilian TV Ratings Soar: ‘Three Graces’ and ‘BBB 26’ Hit Record Highs

Brazilian television viewership experienced a significant surge this week, with both the drama series Three Graces and the reality show BBB 26 achieving record audience numbers. These gains underscore the continued power of traditional television in the Brazilian media landscape, even amidst the rise of streaming services.

‘Three Graces’ Captivates Audiences with Dramatic Twists

The telenovela Three Graces, penned by Aguinaldo Silva, Virgílio Silva, and Zé Dassilva, reached a peak in São Paulo on Monday, February 2nd, attracting 25 points and a 41% share of the audience. This success follows a particularly action-packed chapter featuring a police operation at Joaquim’s junkyard – owned by character Joaquim, played by Marcos Palmeira – and the resulting fallout, including an injury to the character Bagdá, portrayed by Xamã.

The series has been building momentum with compelling storylines, including the recent murder of Célio by Arminda. According to viewership data collected between January 26th and 31st, Three Graces also achieved record weekly audiences in several key cities: Salvador (29 points, 52% share) and Belo Horizonte (21 points, 39% share).

Furthermore, the show maintained its strongest weekly averages to date in the PNT (23 points, 41% share), São Paulo (22 points, 38% share), and Brasília (22 points, 40% share).

‘BBB 26’ Sees Biggest Audience Since Last March

The popular reality show BBB 26 also experienced a ratings boost, scoring 20 points and a 38% share in São Paulo on Monday. This represents the show’s highest viewership of the current season. The surge coincided with a live “Sincerão” episode, hosted by Tadeu Schmidt, and marked the largest audience for BBB since March of the previous year.

‘O Globo Esporte’ Also Reaches Peak Viewership

Rounding out a strong week for Brazilian television, O Globo Esporte recorded its highest audience of 2026 in São Paulo, achieving 11 points and a 27% share.

These impressive ratings figures demonstrate the enduring appeal of live television events and serialized dramas in Brazil. The success of Three Graces and BBB 26 highlights the importance of compelling narratives and engaging formats in capturing and retaining a large audience.
