Burkina: Trial and FESPACO on the menu of Burkinabe dailies
Ouagadougou, March 3, 2023 (AIB) – This Friday’s dailies evoke the trial of the former director general of the Burkinabè National Lottery and the visit of the Minister of Communication Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo to the Army Museum.

The newspaper reports that at the end of the visit, the minister in charge of culture, said that visiting the army museum is visiting the history of the country.
Sidwaya continues that he also said that the visit was an opportunity to see that there are still efforts to be made to create optimal conditions for conservation and enhancement for this museum.
From another angle, “LONAB: the ex-CEO sentenced to 4 years in prison”, headlines the private daily Le Pays.
The newspaper informs that the former CEO of LONAB, Emmanuel Désiré Thiamobiga, knows his legal fate since yesterday.
Indeed, he was sentenced by the High Court of Ouaga1, to a prison sentence of 72 months including 48 months (4 years) firm and a fine of 750 million FCFA firm.
