Kochi: The trial of actor Dileep’s murder conspiracy case will begin today. In the first phase, the court will examine 36 witnesses. The crime branch investigated the revelation of director Balachandra Kumar that Dileep had the footage of the actress being assaulted.

The investigation team found that Dileep has committed crimes including destruction of evidence. The trial court also upheld the charge sheet filed by the crime branch in the case. Dileep’s friend and businessman Sarath is the first accused in the case. There are about 300 witnesses in the case.

Yesterday, the High Court had directed to send a notice to Dileep, the accused in the case of assaulting the actress. The court action is based on the petition filed by the prosecution to cancel Dileep’s bail. Dileep returned after not receiving the earlier notice. It is in this situation that the High Court has given instructions to send a notice through a lawyer. Dileep is the eighth accused in the case.

The demand is to cancel Dileep’s bail as there is an attempt to influence the witnesses. The prosecution alleges that Dileep tried to influence Dileep’s housekeeper Dasan and the apologist Vipinlal.

However, Dileep’s lawyer argues that the prosecution does not have any information or evidence to prove that he or his client Dileep tried to influence the witnesses. Dileep was in jail when the prosecution said he threatened the apologetic witness Vipin Lal. The claim that he tried to influence Dileep’s domestic helper Dasan is wrong. Ramanpilla had pointed out.
