Trial of the skinners of Rouen: a verdict of “unusual leniency” for the civil party

At the end of a week of trial, long and trying for all parties, the three magistrates and six jurors of the Seine-Maritime Assize Court in Rouen (Seine-Maritime), five men and a woman, delivered their verdict, this Saturday, November 19, after just over five hours of deliberation. Céline Vasselin, 35, and Jessica Adam, 39, were convicted of murdering Sliman Amara, the former’s companion, and then dismembering his body.
