Tribal conflict in Sudan: Death toll exceeds 200 – NEWS 360 – WORLD

Khartoum: At least 213 people have been killed in clashes between two tribal groups in Sudan. The clashes erupted last Friday when an unidentified assailant killed two people in Krink, West Darfur province.

Clashes between members of the Masalit community and members of the Arab community began on Friday in and around the provincial capital, El Genina. There were also widespread attacks on hospitals, police stations and markets in the area. Houses in the area were set on fire and looted.
