Salif Keita, legend of Malian football and the Saint-Etienne sports association passed away on Saturday September 2, 2023 at the age of 76. First African Ballon d’Or (1970), the green striker nicknamed the “Black Panther” left an indelible mark on African and French football and opened the way to success for many African players.
