by time news

Trichy: Police yesterday arrested Surya Siva, son of Trichy Siva MP and BJP executive, for allegedly hijacking a bus belonging to a private travel agency.

Surya Siva is the son of Trichy Siva, the DMK state level committee chairman and policy outreach secretary. For the past few years, he has been living with his wife in the Vasanveli flat near Somarasampet due to a disagreement with his father.

He recently left the DMK and joined the BJP. He was given the post of General Secretary of the BJP OBC Team.

In this situation, he was going to Trichy by car from Chennai on the 11th. Surya Siva’s car collided with a private travels bus near Ulundurpet. A case has been registered at the Thirunavur police station in this regard. Surya Siva has given his car for repair.

After that, Surya Siva went with his supporters and allegedly took another bus of the company which was parked at the Trichy Central bus stand on the 19th and parked it near his house in Somarasampet area as there was no agreement in the negotiations regarding the cost of repairing the car.

The company had lodged a complaint with the Cantonment Police Station alleging that they had hijacked their bus and demanded money. Police registered a case under 5 sections and arrested Surya Siva last evening.

Informed BJP workers besieged the cantonment police station in support of Surya Siva. Following this, the BJP arrested more than 50 people and detained them at the wedding hall.

Complain to Ministers

Prior to my arrest, Surya Siva told reporters, “I have been falsely accused of inciting ministers Ponmudi and Anbil Mages to support the private bus company.

I will be somewhat patient. If the level is exceeded, I will release all the secrets. The case has been registered due to harassment due to change of party. I will not stop criticizing the DMK for that. Ready to face trial. ”
