Basquete Tricolor travels to Argentina this Thursday. The debut of the São Paulo team will be against Quimsa (home team), on Saturday (16) and on Sunday (17) they will face Nacional. Both games will be at 8:40 pm, at the Ciudad gym, in Santiago del Estero. Broadcast on FIBA Youtube.
Champion in 2022, São Paulo is looking for a second BCLA championship and is competing in the fifth edition of the competition. This is the third time that Tricolor participates in the championship, in the 2020/21 season they came in third place and were champions in 2021/22.
In BCLA there are 12 teams divided into four groups with three teams each. The first phase, the group stage, takes place in three windows and each team will host one of them. After the group stage, the two best teams in each group will move on to the Quarter Finals.
São Paulo, which was in group B along with Quimsa-ARG and Nacional-URU, will play in Argentina for the first time, playing on December 16th and 17th. The second window will be based in Uruguay and will be played on January 18th and 19th. In the last window, which will take place in Morumbi, the dispute will be on the 10th and 12th of February.
