This Tuesday (11), São Paulo goes to Rio Grande do Sul to face the first challenge away from home for the Brazilian Sub-17 Championship. At 21:30, Tricolor faces Grêmio at the Airton Ferreira stadium, in Eldorado do Sul, a match broadcast by the Sportv channel.
The debut of the São Paulo team could not have been better: thrashed by 5 to 1 about Goiás in the last week. The team’s top scorer, Ryan Francisco, scored three times – Ferreira and Rhaul completed the scoring.
The Brasileiro Sub-17 is disputed by 20 clubs, distributed in two keys of ten teams. Teams play against each other within the group, in a single shift, and the top four advance to the quarterfinals. São Paulo are in group B alongside Palmeiras, Athletico-PR, Fortaleza, Santos, Grêmio, Atlético-GO, Bahia, Cruzeiro and Goiás.
